Dr. Björn Schumacher is the Principal Investigator and Chair for Genome Stability in Ageing and Disease at the Institute for Genome Stability in Aging and Disease. His research group uses the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans to understand the causal role of DNA damage in aging and disease.
