Day Four
The things that became really apparent to me as I was doing my research for this podcast are twofold: First that most people who have had any measure of success did so with a powerful email list or social presence already established. Second, that there was really nothing available in the biotech, healthcare, science, and related spaces, which is crazy to me. In a world where anything is possible, why not choose to learn more about the people who are improving all of our lives?
I set out to email a bunch of people that sounded interesting to me, thinking I’d get a response rate of about 10%, but I’ve been getting a response rate at around 75-85%. A large number of those people who responded were open to being interviewed or open to directing me to people they thought would want to talk. I’m incredibly thankful for those who helped me out.
After a lot of back and forth, I was able to interview something like 15 people. I picked 10 and readied them for the launch. I have never worked with audio before, so it was a bit of a challenge figuring everything out, and I’m still learning, but I’ve enjoyed the process. Any suggestions on how to improve the audio quality, please let me know.
My Current Set-Up: I use Skype, Ecamm recording software, Audio-Technica ATH-M30 headphones, and an Audio-Technica ATR 2100 usb microphone.

This weird Italian book that reminds me that everyone is unique, but what you see of them is barely one part of the shadow that they case. Book: One, No One and One Hundred Thousand
